About Me

Daughter of the Most High God.  Wife.  Mom of 5.  Sister.  A member of the Body of Christ (1 Corinthians 12).

Thinker on whatever is true, noble, pure, right, lovely, admirable, praise-worthy (Philippians 4:8).  Hungry for His Word.  Growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18).  Thankful to be saved by grace and a follower of Jesus Christ.

I whole heartedly desire to see His Kingdom come here on earth as it is in Heaven (Matthew 6:10).  My desire is to not just get by in life or rush through it but live a life that honors Him and brings Him glory in all circumstances.

I am privileged to have be married to my pastor-husband for almost 16 years. Thankful to walk alongside him in local church ministry.  I served four years (after college and in our early years of marriage) in campus ministry at a local university.  I have the blessing of being a foster, adoptive and biological mother.   Thankful to be able to homeschool our children.  We raise chickens and grow a vegetable garden on a little piece of land that the Lord has provided.  I praise God, from whom all blessings flow, for the life I have in Him.  I am so thankful for the gift and purposes of each day that He has given me to walk out for His glory.

I praise God for those He has allowed me to walk alongside in every season-past and present, no matter how short or long of a time period.  We are not meant to walk alone, isolated, and without other believers who sharpen us, encourage us, and are meant to be woven in our day to day lives.

My desire, and aim for this blog, is to encourage, spur on, and fan the flame of the giftings, callings and purposes God has inside of each of us.  They aren’t meant to be hoarded or kept to ourselves.  I believer that everything we are (and have) is already God’s.  It’s such a good reminder that it should all be used for His glory!  You are valuable to God the Father and He sent His son, Jesus, for each of us to walk in abundant life.

What a blessing it is to walk alongside one another in a manner worthy of the calling to which we have been called (Ephesians 4:1-3).

He is Worthy!
